Background

Dr. Emmanuel Awuni KOLOG is a Data Scientist, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana and the director of FastROI Digital Solutions LTD. He holds a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland. He additionally holds an MBA degree in International Business Management from the Lapland University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Dr. Awuni is the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II scholarship at McGill University in Canada. Dr. Awuni’s areas of expertise include the fields of Machine Learning Applications, Text-based Affect Detection using NLP, Learning Analytics, Digital platforms, and Business Analytics. He has provided capacity building and consulted for several organisations, including, the Bank of Ghana, UNICEF-Ghana, UNESCO, Policy LINK/USAID, Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Ghana Revenue Authority, McGill University among others
